Some of you may know of The Haunted mod for UT3.
v3.0 has just been released and it will be the last release before the mod is ported to the UDK and made a standalone game. That's right, it will be its own separate and free standalone game for everyone to download and play.
For those of you who don't know here's the features list of the game:

* Demonizer: Similar to coop, but each dead human will turn into a demon until no one is left.

To be honest, most are decent but some are just HORRIBLE. Like the ladder climbing one, for instance.

You can play other UT3 mods.
All of which are playerless.
UT3 is a waste of money, no reason to buy it now since all of the mods for it are going to be standalone soon enough.

Lul, it was a decent mod but there was barely any players and it wasn't anything special, being a (slight) clone of L4D but in an more arcade style.
Notice all these mods going standalone money games.
Modding isn't an artform now, it's just another business.

Two points, The PS3 edition has a size cap, it might be possible but I'm unsure (models certainly work, and some are really good)
You'd have to ask the Develpoers.
Secondly, it's almost stand alone, unless you have a PC from the stone age (even i had a Stone age PC and it worked for me.) you might as well get it for PC.

That was always my issue with it too, never any servers.

Yeah I agree. But, I just don't even play UT3 that much. Maybe if they had that 10 dollar deal thing again. But until then I can wait..
This has great potential if the devs keep updating it. I've got the UT3 mod but I'll wait for standalone since I assume that'll get way more players.

UT2004 has always been an ugly spamfest. All mods to it looks like shite, this is no exception.

Why do they look like midgets?
The video just shouts "ut3 mod!" to me. It uses the standard graphics engine and shaders so it looks like a custom map for ut3 with playermodel changes.
