Does the half life series have a theme song?

I noticed that TF2 and L4D have their own familiar tune in the songs.

Like team Fortress 2's theme is this:

Also, a quick note on L4D:

L4D's theme is kind of peculiar in that there's no one song for it. Instead, it's a single melody that's remixed for all of the game's music.

Path of Borealis is incredibly overrated and doesn't describe accurately the HL series as a whole.

Hazardous Environments fits it better, as NotPigeon said, but this one is definitely what I'd see as a theme song:

My understanding is that Path of Borealis is actually a remix of Triage at Dawn by DJ Dain (who, incidentally, is responsible for one of my favorite [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Itic-HgzFg4]Cave Story remixes[/url]) called "That Long Train Ride." The song had Viktor's name stuck on it and the title was changed to "Path of Borealis." It was then released, along with another remix called "Route to City 17," as a supposed 'beta leak.'

Route to City 17 ought to be the theme. I truly hope it works its way into Episode 3 as either the intro or the credits. It's one of my favorite pieces of music, not just my favorite from the HL-series soundtrack.

I don't know what the theme is, the most likely candidates for HL1 would be the Valve Theme itself or Adrenaline Horror. I think the HL2 theme is probably Tau 9 or Tracking Device.

One of my favorite tunes, though, is the Jungle Drums when one fights Gonarch in HL1.

Yup. Steam version uses Half-Life soundtrack.

Although, I find myself liking HL tracks, over Opposing Force ones.

Personally, Path of the Borealis/Triage at Dawn/Suit Song, seems to be almost everyone's them for this game, maybe not Valve, as millions listen to it, and there are a bunch of different versions of this song, whether they are depressing, happy trance, rock or more of a remix*

On an unrelated note, Ray Koefed's Taste the Cake could be Portal's new theme, the difference is, it has lyrics, unlike Path of the Borealis. Sure Still Alive has lyrics, was a catchy tune and has been covered by other voices or made with different mediums over time as Portal aged, but the difference is that song already was in game, and now people are anticipating Ray's song into Valve's Portal sequel, just like people want the HL2 remix in Episode Three, since exploited into popularity by dj Dain*
