[B]Tropico[/B]
Tropico is a construction and management simulation game developed by Haemimont Games and published by Kalypso Media. The game sees the player taking the role of "El Presidente," the ruler of an island in the Caribbean during the Cold War era from the 1950s onward.
Games based on Caribbean city-building have been created before, but Tropico was the first to be centered around Cuban Revolution and Cold War themes. The game is tongue-in-cheek in its presentation of banana republics, using a great deal of humor while still referencing such topics as totalitarianism, electoral fraud, and the interventions of powerful companies and the Cold War superpowers (the United States and Soviet Union).

Hmm my miners went on a strike for better working conditions, so i send the military and they shot 3 miners. The rest pissed their pants and went back to work. :cool:

I finally got a decent running island. Everyone seems happy and i'm cashing in around $125000 each freight. Now that i've got a stable economy it's time to make my island available for tourism.
Also, i got attacked by rebels at the start and they killed my whole army. There was 3 rebels left and I walked out myself and shot all 3 of them. :iia:
Mine keep breaking while I try and load it :crying:

It's a great game for people who want a more Realistic Sim City.
tropico 2 was fucking awesome too
Good game but I don't like the campaign very much. Something about spending 4 hours on one campaign only to finish it. :froggonk:

No strategy game has ever fared well on a console. Sans a few, like sim city.
