you enter free mode get a car and get killed
you find this is what happens most of the time but you ignore what is going on around you.
gta 4 freemode is a magical place that can only be found with a little imagination

there are many different styles of players out there
here are most
GTA 4 PLAYERS
1. Assholes yes i said it Fricken A holes
they hog helicopters and kill you with them
this is why rpgs exist and why the government type was found
they always use fast cars and heli's they just LOVE rpg's and uzi's.
for some reason they usually have a brown or pink name tag color
2.neutrals
the badass of freemode they hang about in heli pads and drive the cars with great steering they use any weapon they get
they tend to whatever they want done and dont harm anyone... unless you harm them ya.. well goodbye dead man you just killed yourself.

3.normal players
the neutrals brothers
they do stuff like help their friend's with stuff and fuck around
they stick with the default weapon's usually in packs they are always fighting the assholes
no specific color from here on in
4.heli pilot's
the badass taxi
they are found at the helicopter ports around the city
they will give people rides and in times of uneasyness provide air support
5.taxis
the cousins of helicopter pilots they ride in fast cars and can outrun a asshole when needed they tend to stick around the ol,triangle
6.racers/stuntmen
racers fly around the triangle and stunt men drive off ramps at the airport
7.homocidal maniacs
type 1.you get in a cross airport trip in a heli
then you leave the airport just realizing the pilot has jumped out your life ends
type 2.someones comes up screaming on their speaking apparatus
usually ALLAH AKE AHOMED with a active greanade in their hand and boom you see your life slip away in a flash of light and you respawn
8.party van
a 7 year olds dream riding around in a van with guns and pumping music as you shoot everything in site
9.party van 2 the Escalade.

10.urban explorer/myth finder
at land marks or at fire escapes they try everything to get to places they cant without a heli
11.loner
they just like to look at the eye candy
12.government
my personal type
we travel around in vests and use the heli services at every chance we get
we use smgs and will KILL ANYONE WHO AS SO AS TRY TO HARM THE INNOCENT PLAYERS WE SEE THE DEATH LIST AND WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE...

the airport is most dangerous find weapons and anything you need to survive and get back to the airport to begin the real game of survival.

It's not the best guide I've seen, and it could use some originality, but I really don't mind. The government idea is good, though I don't know what the hell it is, and with some work this could be a very nice thread. The maps he provided are pretty useful, only veterans of free mode have all the locations memorized, and even then not all of us know every helicopter location. I wouldn't mind a TBOGT map showing each police station and the special vehicle that is at each one, though.
