Holy shit it goes down for a few minutes. It went down when i was on, but it is nothing to panic about. Do something else for an hour, jesus. Some of those comments on that feed make me go /facepalm.
And nothing of value is lost. (User was banned for this post ("Trolling/meme" - verynicelady))
Shit happens, deal with it.
I am a PC gamer too so I would know that everyone on this forum would cry if Steam went down unexpectedly too....
It's back
I am a PC gamer too so I would know that everyone on this forum would cry if Steam went down unexpectedly too....
We don't have to pay for steam.
It was only down for about 20 minutes, calm down.
We don't have to pay for steam.
Well, actually you do pay for the service. You think Steam/Valve is doing this for free?
Well, actually you do pay for the service. You think Steam/Valve is doing this for free?
They take a small commission from each sale, but still, most games on Steam are extremely overpriced. I only ever buy a game on Steam if it's on sale or something. For all my other games, I just go to Amazon or Play. Example: Anno 1404 (about a year old) is going for £34.99 on Steam, but £11.99 on Amazon and Play. I don't know if it's Steam overpricing them, or the companies being stingy bastards.
