• Videos recorded in Source on Youtube

As most of you should know, there's this thing in which every video I record with my FRAPS on any Source game ends up with stupid black bars. I tried making it 16:9 widescreen resolution when editing the video but it just cuts some of the bottom and some of the top of the screen. Example of black bars: Example of 16:9 widescreen on editing: (notice how some of the video is cut.) I heard there is an actual video resolution in which the videos recorded come out in fullscreen.
I'd also like to know this
It's because the video was recorded in 16:10. At least, that is why it happens for me.
I tried with 4:3 and theres black bars on the sides. I'm using a template on Sony Vegas for HD videos.
I'd upload my template for you, but I'm on another PC. Try using these settings in vegas: Project Size: 1280x720 and when rendering Stretch To Output size (no letterbox) Example: [editline]09:53PM[/editline] Or, use the move-around thing (sorry, my version of vegas is in french, it's the box thing on each video clip/media source), right click in that window and use Fit output size. Example:
You have to set the in-game resolution to a 16:9 one and play it windowed.

Tested the resolution + the template and it worked fine. Thanks everyone.
