[i]So, OP, what is EDF:Insect Armageddon?[/i] Well, I'm glad you asked. EDF:Insect Armageddon is a sequel to EDF:2017, which was a sequel to Global Defense Force, where you got to shoot at giant ants, giant spiders, flying alien gunships, giant robots with laser cannons for arms, Mechagodzilla knockoffs, giant queen ants, and so forth. In the sequel, most of the enemies are back alongside some new ones. [i]What's the story, OP?[/i] Basically, aliens known as the "Ravagers" invade earth because there home planet was more or less near uninhabitable, so they invade earth to make it there new home world. In the first game you play as a random grunt named "Storm 1". And you basically kick the aliens asses back to there home planet. But this time they brought some new stuff to help them out in there conquest of earth. I want this game so bad, just so i can shoot giant spiders.

This series is probably the best series I have ever played. Co-op is hilarious to play. The reason why is because there is 100+ weapons that are completely different from each other. One weapon was called the tortoise launcher. It was the most powerful launcher, but it traveled slower than you can run.

oh god this series was just :pcgaming: all over the place.

The first game was just ridiculous. I loved every minute of it

Any one have any clever weapon ideas for the game?

I saw one of the EDF games in a store a long while back, but I didn't get it because there was japanese writing on the case and it looked like a really cheesy game. :v:
