• Fun Custom Gamemodes

So, as the title implies, this is a place to talk about the fun modes you've made in games, whether by using mods, changing options, etc. The reason I ask this, is that soon I'll be playing a few splitscreen games with some friends, and need a few good modes people have thought up, as I'm using all three consoles, and we have most of the good games between us, that isn't a problem. An example of a fun mode, is; Modern Warfare 2, all players use Riot Shields, USP's, smoke grenades, lightweight and commando perks on the Terminal map. Good laughs are had when you get 4 people rushing eachother in mad little melee's. Or another; Halo 3, all players have Gravity Hammers, move quickly, and low health and low regeneration in a free for all on a medium sized map. tl;dr Good gamemodes that you've thought up that are good to play with friends that have no purpose but for entertainment.
Crackdown 2 - Human Tennis I'll perfect it when it comes on release.
Any RPG ever: Clear out the level using only the mage's melee attack. This includes healing and buffing.
Halo 3 - Everybody has super speed, energy swords only, 1 hit kills. AWWWWWW, I just read the OP. :( Practically the same thing.

Making a The Hidden like game mode in Halo 1 was fun.

GTA 4- 2 people. Fight each on a cop car and see who dies first. Usually the cops come out and shoot both or one is lucky and beats the other to death. For an even funner thing, go on someone's car and have them drive while fighting! You'll fly away in mid-fight!
My friends and I play a Halo 3 split screen mode similar to yours, it involves 4 people, each armed with a rocket launcher and gravity hammer. You can use the gravity hammer to deflect other people's rockets, which makes it a nice touch. Gravity is set to low, speed is set to high, and we all end up speeding around the map in a mad melee/rocket fest. Another fun split screen game mode in Modern Warfare 2 is zombies, where 1 person is a zombie with commando and whatever that sprinting perk is,along with cold blooded, and the other 3 players have only slow firing weapons (pistols, shotguns, etc.) The humans should also not use any perks, or choose perks that affect nothing. The zombie is armed with a tactical knife, and the damage is set to head shots only. Anyone the zombie stabs is also a zombie, and the zombie can only be killed with head shots. The more people in the game, the more zombies in the beginning (4 people equals 1 zombie 3 humans, 8 people equals 2 zombies 6 humans, and so on.) With Halo 3 you can also play Fort Wars, or whatever that G-mod game mode is called. Each team builds its own forts on a big map like Valhalla, and then you play CTF using that Fort. You could also set up a chess timer, the one with two clocks with one going at a time while the other isn't, and have a weapon or object which is the "ball" is Fort Wars. Then whenever a team is holding that ball, you start the timer for them, with the clock ticking down, and when the other team picks it up, start the timer for them. Post some more games you have so we have more options to give you.
:smithicide:
It's entirely possible. The Final Fantasy games have staffs and certain weapons that heals or buffs whoever is struck with them. It's very useful for defending against zombies and keeping allies alive when you're silenced.
