• Bad Company 2 vs. Medal of Honor

I've seen gameplay from Medal of Honor and the weapons and the HUD don't show anything special or different from Bad Company 2. What's so special about Medal of Honor? DICE is making a new game so early, yeah it's a different series, but why aren't people boycotting this game, like the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott? Maybe it's because valve is closer to their players?
Because some people actually enjoy the singleplayer, also there is no point in trying to boycott EA.
Eh, I played it a bit, I'd say it's far more like MW2 than BC2.
It's developed by 2 different companies, I'll see the singleplayer before I make any judgments
The multiplayer looks so similar though..
Some people actually play games for the singleplayer
This. How many people played Bioshock 2 for the singleplayer, but never touched the multiplayer? Or some of the older COD games?
Unless it is multiplayer only, games should always focus on singleplayer and multiplay should be a bonus, not the other way around.
Unless it is multiplayer only, games should always focus on singleplayer and multiplay should be a bonus, not the other way around.
Why not the other way around?... Look at Tf2 or L4D. Games can have no story and still be great.
Why not the other way around?... Look at Tf2 or L4D. Games can have no story and still be great.
Because it's a bitch to deal with if your internet connection isn't good and sometimes people just want to play by themselves
Unless it is multiplayer only, games should always focus on singleplayer and multiplay should be a bonus, not the other way around.
Unfortunately, game companies are out for money, people look for multiplayer games because generally, multiplayer has more longevity than singleplayer.

Bioshock 2 had multiplayer? Anyway, the Medal of Honor games always had awesome single player, the multiplayer was a + ofcourse but the singleplayer was awesome so yeah I'm waiting to see that before I judge. I loved the old WW2 Medal of Honor singleplayer missions, they weren't exacly realisitic but man they were awesome and varying.
Well the BC2 single player was enjoyable. Some games don't work as multiplayer, like Bioshock or Assassin's creed. Games like MW2 and BC2 work as multiplayers well, though i do love a good single player like red dead redemption. That game was good because the single player of red dead redemption was FANTASTIC and the single player is decent. I'm saving MoH for when it comes out, i don't want to pre-judge a game
they weren't exacly realisitic but man they were awesome and varying.
That's another thing I wanted to bring up. With all these modern war games, who cares if they're realistic or not. It's a game. Game's are fun, not realistic. If you want the real thing, it's simple you don't need good hardware or anything. Just join the military. Ok.
Infinity Ward made the CoD games fantastic, the multiplayer is great and so is single player. Treyarch are decent though i have no idea why Activision are getting Treyarch to make it again seeming IW are much more successful which the MW games being the best

With the term of "fun", your Mileage May Vary. If one finds a 4 hour stealth mission fun, then so be it. Why don't all players who play Falcon 4.0 and LOMAC go and join the Air Force?
I prefer Bad Company 2 any day
I prefet Bad Company 2 any day
You've played Medal of Honor?
I have and I don't particularity enjoy either. I'm still hoping that the singleplayer is better than the multiplayer.
I think they're both overrated and we should move on from modern warfare. And yes, I own BC2 and have played the MoH beta.

I want a CoD in the future. That would be awesome. Or 15th century italy or something. Anyway i'm hoping MoH is a cross between Mw2 and BC2. Both are great but if they were merged it would be absolutly rape
It's developed by 2 different companies, I'll see the singleplayer before I make any judgments
no? dice is doing both
no? dice is doing both
Wrong EA's Los Angeles studio is doing the SP, and DICE is doing MP
Anyway i'm hoping MoH is a cross between Mw2 and BC2. BC2 fans who didn't like MW2 might find it hard to enjoy the game.
You've played Medal of Honor?
Beta :smug:
Yeh i loved the guns and stuff in MW2 but the hole gameplay (multiplayer modes) were better in BC2. Problem with BC2 were ranks were a bit lame and there weren't enough unlocks and stuff
