Last year's VGAs were, from the beginning, not going to please the target audience (/v/) as even if they tailored it entirely to please them, they wouldn't be able to. /v/ and /vg/ hate themselves, and what video games have become. it wasn't always like that, either, but alas.

If they would stop jizzing all over games from 10-20 years ago then maybe they'd actually begin to appreciate a lot of the games currently released.

the /v/GAs are awful you take the actual VGAs, add funny 4chan memes, annoying dubstep and childish jokes and that's it, so cool! I'd rather watch any game event than this, it's much funnier to see developers/publishers/games ridicule themselves than having it cherry-picked and bastardized with cringe-worthy 4chan humor overlayed on top of it

I just hope that Monster Girl Quest 2 wins all the awards

I heard that /v/ was pissed about last year's /v/GA because of the unfunny memes, shitty animated shorts, portal 2 winning every fucking award, ect.
