Ok i just rebought Timesplitters 2 to find out that it's not backwards compatable. Is there an update i can download on LIVE or on the internet since i don't want to let this game go to waste. I live in the UK since i think the marketplaces are different in other countries.
Nope, its not on the official Xbox compatibility list and Timesplitters 2 isn't there. There will never be anymore updates to the compatibility list, so you're pretty much screwed.
What a load of crap. I don't see how they could miss out any of the Timesplitters series... Ah well i'll have to wait for Timesplitters 4...
Micro$oft made a huge mistake when they advertised full backwards compatibility because not only did they change their minds less than half way through, they didn't even make most of the good games compatible. Most of them are complete shit and not worth the time buying. This is why I'm glad to have kept my Xbox.

Same, even though I can barely get my Xbox to run for longer than 2 hours at a time now. Theres something wrong with the DVD drive and since they dropped support for the console entirely, I and many others got screwed.
I got rid of my old Xbox :v:
