[/release] [b]Description:[/b] [release]Well yeah, this shit is overdone, but I want to create something similar to World at War and Black Ops Nazi Zombies, using the Source engine. No plot, the plot is map based. Basically, gameplay can be described in a few short words. Run, shoot, kill, get money, buy weapons, buy upgrades, shoot more and finish the level. Here is some progress I have made on recreating the zombies (don't flame on 'stolen' models, I take no rights for them and they will be fully credited on release. also I made the model of the headless zombie).[/release] [b]VIDEOS FROM THE SOURCE ENGINE! Well, since it's impossible to override the npc movement trough code (possible but a real pain in the ass), I had to recompile the npc model, including in it the male animation. (I have made custom animations but mdldecompiler fucks up the movement data. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_KJY_U7PB4[/media] Progress #2, chop zombies head off. This one was pretty easy actually, just had to create a custom headless zombie model, and spawn a gib, which is the zombie head. (yes I need to recreate the particle effect). Maybe make the zombies not live longer than 3 seconds after their heads have been chopped off?

You've made good use of the vanilla animations, but I really think you should make custom ones.

Looks pretty good, you should make it so that when their heads are off they make no voices though.
There needs to be traps that kill the player or the zombies. There also should be an antagonist. Like, a scientist hell bent on destroying humanity

This is looking pretty sweet. The blood effect is awesome, it instantly reminded me of Brain Bread. That's a good sign. :P Oh, and I REALLY hope you can get some new moving animations for the zombies. It would add a whole new element of fun. And... if you can in your spare time, do you think you could add some movement to the weapons? That would be awesome!
Also, when they're heads come off, they walk exactly the same as when they still have a head. From what little experience I've had, it's difficult to walk in the same fashion that you would normally whilst lacking a head.

Awesome... So its going to be a standalone source mod? Would love to see your animations. Ive been working on a map for something like this, if the mod gets finished I'll definitely make a map for it. Wow, that sure is amazing work.
What I like about this, its already looking better than pretty much all the other half baked retarded as shit zombie mods.

Wow, that sure is amazing work.[/QUOTE] No I took the citizen models used a direct x tool to reduce the polys (the LOD models are to fucked to use as low poly models) and retextured the heads, btw I made these years ago as a experiment I will be doing something different for the mod should it take off :)
I hope it isn't too late to suggest this, but I'd love it to be a TF2-esc style to it, would certainly make it a lot more unique and interesting. Plus then you could have more interesting weapons, characters, maps and zombies. Plus if you do I'd be more then willing to texture and do a few sounds for you and I know a modeller who'll probably help out too.
Hey are you going to make it like a copy of world at war, like buying weapons off of walls and the barricade system, and the doors? I might also be able to help a little, I can texture a little bit, just don't ask me to make textures from scratch. Just basic stuff like retextures.
