The Haunted is a Unreal Tournament 3 total conversion mod as the title suggests.

So... its killing floor meets left 4 dead but in third person
I just got it back today, (last time I played it was around 2.0 beta), and was really surprised that there were only three servers up for one game mode, (survivor). But I had a good time.

New threads are fresh, old ones are stale and moldy.
so any news on when the update is going to be, seeing as how they said they would make a conversion to udk which means you wouldn't need ut3 to play it anymore.
Wow, why havent I heard of this before? this is pretty kicking rad
Makes me want to learn unreal engine... but it takes so long...
Pros:
-Great gore
-Pretty cool, unique weapons
-Great with a friend
-Good map design
Cons:
-Versus mode turns into just spamming bats and explosive balls
-Some animations are dreadful
-Low amount of maps gets boring kind of fast
-Not many people play it
-Chainsaw is practically better than a gun
All in all, when it becomes free and they do a bit more touching up and change Versus mode a bit, it could be a great game. Hopefully it also gets a decent modding community because I played one custom map for it that was pretty great.
