Yeah, a little help here needed :') (Resolution)

My counter strike source resolution is messed up. When I open up Counter Strike I get a black screen with counter strike in the corner with no buttons to press or anything. When I move my mouse where the buttons are I can here the ticking from my mouse hovering over it. I don't understand what happened. I need help FP'ers.
