What so you think they should add/remove/improve on, for the next sequel? I personally think they shouldn't change a damn thing on the graphics. It looks so gorgeous and runs so smoothly (surprisignly) on my rig.
Bring back the inventory and large scale worlds. Oh, and don't fill every hallway with chest-high walls.
Blasto as a squad member
Sheptech laser eyes.
RPG elements from the first game, while keeping combat elements from the second game. All living squad members available in your party, and some Normandy music. Ability to change team armor, as well as weapons. More weapon variety. Make the game feel more vast like the first game, with some world exploration. Get rid of planet scanning. Keep the soundtrack awesome, make the ending credits song great like in the first game instead of mediocre like in the second game.
the volus biotic god as a party member
Fuck combat and inventory, I just want more dialog with your squad mates and party banter on missions.
I just want more dialog with your squad mates and party banter on missions.
Just like Dragon Age eh?
Oh yeah, give us health bars back. I hate giant red veins obstructing my view telling me that I'm about to die.
Oh yeah, give us health bars back. I hate giant red veins obstructing my view telling me that I'm about to die.
There's a health bar at the bottom, silly!
The RPG elements from Mass Effect needs to come back, they didn't need to tear it to shreads like they did in ME2. Health bars would be nice. How are giant black and red viens all over the screen supposed to help? It looks like Alex Mercer is trying to eat the camera. Get rid of the fucking scanning. How did they think that was an improvement over the Mako? Bring back the elevators! "Baww, Bioware! I can't wait 10 seconds in an elevator while the map loads. Baww!" "Fuck you Bioware, why are there loading screens? They weren't in the first game! Baww!" Whiney little cunts can't wait 10 fucking seconds. More dialouge with team mates would be great. [editline]09:36AM[/editline]
There's a health bar at the bottom, silly!
And there's no need for Alex Mercer to try to eat the camera every time you get damaged.
:10bux: They won't fix the pixellated ExoGeni clothing. Again.
And there's no need for Alex Mercer to try to eat the camera every time you get damaged.
Hmm, it kinda serves as a warning to "Get the fuck down!".
Hmm, it kinda serves as a warning to "Get the fuck down!".
or its also a meaning for "BITCH YOU AINT GOT GOD MODE TAKE COVER!"
Hmm, it kinda serves as a warning to "Get the fuck down!".
There are lots of other ways, like a slightly flashing red overlay, and the more damage you receive, the brighter the red overlay is.
I don't see the problem with the big veins all over the screen. They are useful for people who are paying more attention to the action than their health bar. And the thought of the inventory returning sickens me. Opening your inventory after a firefight is like checking your fucking email after a vacation. One thing I would really like to see is more interaction between squad mates. ME2 has so many interesting characters, but they almost never speak to each other.
:fuckoff: (Hint: It's a link to Mass Effect Megathread) I want different endings, ranging from "Reapers succeed" to "Reapers destroyed with heavy casualties" (which'd be the best outcome, since anything better is virtually impossible.)
Bring back the Normandy music!
more alien sex
Seeing Tali's face :science: And more armour costumisation, like the parts from ME2 but tons more of them. Also squad armour costumisation, and less husks, and a orgy somewhere like in Dragon age. And cryo Ammo. And Wrex.
Wrex. Shepard.
High resolution textures. Tired of seeing the low res textures everywhere.
Elevators! Best feature of ME1 which was totally missed when ME2 came about. Well not really, but I did miss Wrex sizing everyone up to Shepard. Heavy support weapons? If coop, another squad running about in conjunction with yours? Deploy-able cover? Another DVD disk? BTW, you could use a Medi Gel to regenerate your health and shields (must be a mixture of Omni-Gel as well) if you are desperate and you don't have any defensive abilities.

More dialogs with your crew (so you - not Shepard - can either sympatize or hate them)
Elevators
Make the combat parts less dull
Bring back the epicness, monumentality and that fairy-tale feeling of the first ME
Health bars and medigel, so you can actually worry about Shepard's life instead of thinking he's a superhero with a super-healing ability.
I also want the first ME's inventory for a greater justice. For some reason, I liked going through my stuff and either selling it or disassembling it.
Please, no inventory like in the first one. I couldn't fucking stand that inventory. Going through everything and weighing the options against each other for every fucking item every time you finished a mission was so fucking irritating and time consuming.
Bring it to playstation.
Cerberus reviving Ashley/Kaiden just to piss you off.

Health bars and medigel, so you can actually worry about Shepard's life instead of thinking he's a superhero with a super-healing ability.
Regenerating health has been in video games for years and has proven to be quite handy rather than carrying 70 medkits you have to use every 5 minutes. No thanks.
Cerberus reviving Ashley/Kaiden just to piss you off.
There's a reason I let Kaiden die you know (2 words: denying threesome), I'd like it to stay that way.
I'd like to see a revamped inventory system along with medi-gel making a comeback. Seriously, if they insist on having the regenerating health mechanic in there, at least have it be an armor upgrade like in the first one where the health regeneration rate could be improved by armor upgrades. In my opinion, regenerating health destroys all tactical incentive. In the first Mass Effect you were dependent on using your character to its fullest. In Mass Effect 2 all of that was reduced to taking cover as soon as the screen started flashing or to toss up a biotic shield every time it did so it could regenerate. I'd like to have those "Oh shit! I can't possibly win this, I'm out of medi-gel and my health bar is almost empty." moments again. I found it hugely satisfying when you defied the odds and won through tactical thinking rather than pure firepower.
