Can't do the "Get Some Grub" achievement? Try this!

My friend sent this to me a little while back, and thought some of you here on FP. might want to see it. I personally didn't use it since I actually got the achievement, but figured some people want it.

Basically, its a map that allows you to "cheat" to get the 333 required grubs to be squashed. Push the button, step on the grubs, use the button in the back to damage yourself (optional, only for people with low-end computers so they can pick up the dropped Grub Nuggets), rinse, repeat. Also an SMG and ammo, ammo spawn button, and a crowbar.

This is for those who don't feel like searching high and low in the Antlion caves looking for those grubs. (like I did...)

Installation: Put the .bsp file into your /steam/steamapps/username/half-life 2 episode 2/ep2/maps folder.

To play: Open Episode 2, open the console, and type "map grubachievement_ep2" without the quotations.

I tried getting that achievement once or twice actually, but I keep missing like three grubs somewhere :/

If I had to cheat, I would do somthing better

I made a map with a ton of grubs, and steped on them all.

Its a lot less laggy than you would expect...

I'd say it's alright if you're like 2 grubs off the achievement, then I'd say it's OK to cheat.

By the way, maps don't work on the 360, if that's what you were thinking we played, OP. We aren't nuts about achievements.

It's a neat utility... I was really careful when I ran through, so I got it my first run. (Or did I? Hmm... Did I care at the time?)

... Well... I guess this would be nice for the people who get frustrated missing 1 grub everytime.

I figured those poor souls who are missing the one grub, can't be bothered to look for it, and feel proud displaying their "achievements" to others from the comfort of their basements would have liked to see this.
