I have $10 that I want to spend on a game and I've always been a fan of the Splinter Cell series. Which do you think is better? Chaos Theory or Double Agent? -Or if you know of a better game to spend $10 on, let me know.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Agent.
Chaos Theory is the greatest stealth game of all time, Double Agent is complete and utter trash. There's no competition or matter of opinion.

Double agent on the Ps2/XboX wasn't bad though. EDIT: Well actually it's a completely different game, Ubisoft Shanghai worked on the 360/PS3 versions while Ubisoft Monteral(Makers of Splinter Cell 1, Chaos theory) did the PS2/Xbox version.
Chaos Theory will always be my favorite, it's truly the magnum opus of the series. It makes me sad what Ubi is doing to the series. But enough of my rant, definitely, defiantly buy Chaos Theory
Chaos Theory Double Agent is shit. (Unless it's the xbox/ps2 version)
It's sad. I've always played this franchise on a playstation console, and I couldn't believe how shitty the PS3 port was for Double Agent. It was bug ridden, and had a horrible frame rate. I never bother playing it again after five minutes. I hope they fix this for Splinter Cell: Conviction.

The game was an awful bug ridden piece of shit from the start.
Chaos Theory. The only really good level of Double Agent is the boat.
Chaos Theory. Double Agent is horrible.
Double Agent was decent, Chaos Theory was far better.

Got Chaos Theory for $5 during the Steam Holiday Sale. Did not regret it. Got Double Agent for $90 retail. Regret it a lot. Even if the prices were reversed, I'd still have the same opinions.
Accidently voted Double Agent. But Chaos Theory is much better.
Chaos theory
I like both :smug:
Double Agent was kind of fun. It had its moments. 30 minute missions where 25 minutes of it is walking around a base and 5 minutes is sneaking was not it. Chaos Theory, on the other hand, was consistently amazing.
i feel that double agent is not a true splinter cell game. it's like playing a COD game made by treyarch
9 out of 10 people prefer Chaos Theory. The other one is on my list.
Chaos Theory is miles ahead but I still thought Double Agent was fun. Especially the last-gen version.
Double agent wasn't bad, but get Chaos theory..it was 10x better.
I miss playing versus on Chaos Theory. It was so much fun. Chaos Theory all the way.
Double Agent saddened me. Almost turned me Emo. :geno:
I enjoyed Double Agent a lot on 360 and PC. The multiplayer looked better on the original Xbox though. I loved Chaos Theory as well, but I still enjoyed Double Agent's single player a lot.
Double agent sucks. Period. I can't even get past the first mission due to bugs. Chaos Theory is wonderful, one of the best games I've ever purchased.
