These games are fucking awesome. They started in Arcades with the original: Dragon's Lair Arcade Machine. The artwork was done by a then current (and very famous) Disney animator Don Bluth. It was distributed on Laserdisc format and was the highest quality arcade game at its time. In my opinion, I still prefer the original but the second is one huge mindfuck of a game. It was then made into various different games. For the Coleco Adam Home Computer, Nintendo Entertainment System, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 they were very different games. They ranged from side scrollers to isometric puzzle games. It had some scenes missing and others mixed around but overall, it was about the same. It was remade into Dragon's Lair 3D for Gamecube, Xbox and PC. It was a 3D platformer/action game. It was also re-released for the PS2 and Gamecube 2 years later as Dragon's Lair 3D - Special Edition. That version only added a few new areas as well as new bonuses. Now in cel-shaded 3D! More current releases are remakes (or re-distributions) of the original arcade game available for download for your iPhone or iPod Touch as well as a download off of the DSi marketplace. I still have a lot of fun playing it today. I own it on Blu-Ray as well as on my iPod Touch. I rented the 3D version when it came out and it was okay but I still loved the original one the best. Don Bluth went on to also design the artwork for Space Ace, another style of game like Dragon's Lair but in space. He also designed the game Brain Dead 13. Thanks for reading this thread, and I hope that you all had the same experience I did.
I played this way back on Sega CD, Played it recently on an Emulator too, good game, even if it's *all* a Button Sequence Some of the sequences wouldn't work without plugging into a different controller port first too... and I had to do it for certain levels and then go back to the other port... Annoying, but still a good game... Ah I miss the Sega CD Dragon's Lair Tomcat Alley Lethal Enforcers Sewer Shark can suck a dick

Also, didn't Don make Brain dead 13? "Are you one of those mad scientist dudes?"
Oh yeah, sorry. I must have forgotten about that one. I'll add it to the OP.
