This is one pretty cool game, and I found it in the "bargain bucket" lately. Obviously (like a lot of you) I was intrigued by the title and I bought it. And my god. It is the best game I have had the pleasure to play! For those unenlightened, it is a defense game. You have to make a 2D dungeon to protect your "High Priest" from strong "heroes", these heroes try to capture your Priest and you must make a dungeon bristling with nasties to protect him. The interesting thing is that as you create your dungeon you have to also create an ecosystem for the various monsters that will live there. It is a good game with some obvious flaws (the unability to save during the main story put me off). Oh, i forge tto mention that you are the lord of destruction!
So Your thoughts residents of Facepunch, Is it an old game (almost obvious)? Is it a PC Port? Is it originally japanese? If you have all played this before and think I am a douchebag then fine. Just rate me dumb.
BTW: For anyone who has played this, BLOODY STAGE 5!
Dungeon Keeper? If not it sounds like a rip off of it.
And if so, it's not a Japanese game at all, it's the greatest thing ever by Bullfrog
It's actually relatively new. Seen some stuff around about it but nothing serious. I think the sequel is due out this month, and comes with the original as well. I think they actually had to change the name recently though, since apparently since DC comics owns anything that sounds LIKE Batman.
I've been meaning to try the psp demo, but I cant find my psp's memory card.
