Players invent and customize their own outrageous weapons to carry into furious, over-the-top shooter action that truly distinguishes itself from the vast array of “modern combat” titles. Earn new weapon parts, character customizations, equipment, and accessories as you gain prestige and wealth. The more you play, the more you can customize. There are endless possibilities to truly set yourself apart from your opponents. We’ll continue to update Loadout with new items, customizations, game-play modes, features and much more. The developers have stated that Loadout’s F2P strategy won't be selling power. Instead they will point towards the League of Legends style, “we want to do something similar to LoL, we aren’t going to make the best weapons and items available only in the shop, we want to only offer things like cosmetic changes and experience boosts”. When asked whether a higher level player would have an advantage over a lower level player, a developer said there would be very little to none. Players will have the chance to win random weapon parts at the end of matches, because of this a lower level player may get lucky and receive a part that a higher level player hasn’t seen yet. Spooling. Minigun. Pulse. Corkscrew. This will maul -anything- a grand deal of the time.
Slightly reminds me of Borderlands.
Super fun, gunplay's great, looks like it's going to have a fair business model, too (chance to get vip currency after every round, parts of weapons drop with level-ups, one of each part unlocked at the very start.). Collector gamemode is extremely luck-based, tho, with capture points and the things you need to collect all over the place lets a randomly -assigned collector cap like 3 times in a few seconds. CTF with a power-hammer instead of a flag is great, tho. Oh, and out of all the things, healing guns are the best. OH OH OH! I forgot! The damage on the models look amazing! You can get your legs or head blown off and even walk with a big bleeding hole in the chest. Basically if TF2 gibbing was made in 2013. Sorry i just love this so much so far.
I really want a beta key.
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1178655 Hi.
Thanks, Lazilly copying now.
Great game, but I have a feeling it will die quickly once it's released... I think the gameplay is to chaotic for most people (not me though, I fucking love it, been wanting something like this for awhile).
I signed up for this and completely forgot about it, I just checked my e-mail now and I actually got a key. :v:
I find the leveling too slow so far, and the chance to get ingame money or custom parts ridiculously thin. Game is really fun though.
HOLY SHIT, I apparently got my key friday. I've been checking every day hoping it'd come in, how did it slip by me like that.
The last time I tried to play this, which was maybe a week or two ago, there was nobody playing. Has that changed recently?
Got my key like 3 months into the Beta and played for a week, seems the game has changed a TON since I last played, quite tempted to redownload
This game looks pretty nice, seems like it could get pretty frustrating if people build OP weapons but maybe there aren't any. Checked my email and i don't have a beta key, surprisingly i discovered old beta keys for several other games though.
I remember playing this a few months ago, my favorite weapon was a homing tesla sticky bomb launcher with a hexa barrel What changed since then? Last time I played you could still use any parts without needing to unlock them
Oh, fyi, MMObomb is currently giving away beta keys... Just go to there website and log in!
Oh, fyi, MMObomb is currently giving away beta keys... Just go to there website and log in!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This is awesome.
So, what are the favoured weapons? Nothing I have seems to do much damage.
Anyone else have a problem with the main menu background freaking the hell out the first time the game is launched? I've yet to get in game, but the main menu backgound is flashing between black and it's what it normally shows. Seems to stop with the steam overlay open.
Just got my key today, this game is alright. Seems like it would take an incredibly long amount of time to acquire anything with the rate i'm getting coins, luckily the default assault rifle is doing great and i don't need costumes.
Is there a way to delete guns after you dismantle them? Or are they just stuck there without any parts attached forever.
