Anybody here play the Walking Dead game? Yeah, it was amazing right? It really captured the themes of the Walking Dead series and the characters really developed into something we could love.

... Well damn, that was one of the worst games I have ever seen.. When you recommend the Walking Dead, be sure to specify the Telltale one. What's worse is that this game may even sell better than the Telltale game since it's being advertised more... It's also [B]50$[/B] on steam and the average time it takes to beat the game is 3hr.

I can't help but laugh at people who pre-ordered this. Apparently it is in the same league as War Z for terrible or worse.

This game looks like a graphically enhanced version of Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green. Which makes me angry as fuck, because I love zombie games, really liked the Telltale series, eventhough I''m no fan of that kind of games, and I adore TWD.
Now my hope rests on someone making a decent TWD-themed mod for some game.

it was on a commercial during almost every walking dead episode.
its just a quick cash grab from activision since they saw the success in telltale
i gave it a shot ( not bought it im not that dumb ) and its pretty much your standard FPS except theres zombies instead of russians/terrorists

Nah its a cash grab not a failed development cycle, it's still better than A:CM.

I had a feeling that would happen. The "average" gamer or parent won't pay attention to the whole cover, they will see the title and buy it without realizing.
It's pretty much what happened during the whole WarZ and DayZ fiasco, where people were confusing the two.
This game is clearly aimed at poorly informed parents and stupid fans.
I bet they try and "salvage" this with DLC. Nothing fixes an inherently bad game like paying for dumb stuff like, off the top of my head, time trial type stuff, over powered weapons and taped on cameos from other TWD characters.
i work at an electronics store and i sold this game to my best friend because he saw the commercial for it and i knew nothing about it

I might buy it for the story and I love the franchise enough to learn more about the Dixon brothers.
It just looks medicore from what I seen. Yeah I've seen the exploits but I think I will have some fun with it.
Loads of people bashed Dead Island hell even I did but I know I will probably buy riptide because I remember loving the melee system.
I think to many people expected to much from this.
This game is so bad. words cannot describe my hate for it

The story goes nowhere and you learn nothing about the brothers except their dad dying in the beginning and merle grabbing his drug stash from a bar. In fact, Merle disappears 2/3 into the game and doesn't show up until the very end and with no explanation.

This game really looks like it was made in six months as a knee-jerk reaction to the popularity of the Telltale game. It'll still sell since the TV show is hella popular, which is sad.
