So. basically i want to share the mod i look most forward to with you guys and i hope you could share some of your most beloved game mods with us. Baldur's Gate Redux mod for Dragon Age: Origins.
Nostalgia strikes home when playing through Dragon Age: Origins. You have flashbacks from the past, an urge to play a game you once loved. That game is the renowned Baldur's Gate 2, famous for its fantastic writing and twisting plot. Starting out with Irenicus' Dungeon, the BGR Team hopes to recreate the beloved Baldur's Gate experience in the Dragon Age engine.
Recreated dialogue scenes so far: Level Test: and a screenshot that should instill nostalgia in many of you: Homepage: http://bgr.gamersnexus.net FAG: http://bg2redux.student.utwente.nl/trac/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions Forum: http://forums.gamersnexus.net/viewforum.php?f=34 I hope you find this as interesting as i do, if not... yeh... I'll encourage you guys to post/share your favourite mods with the rest of us too and let us know just why they're so great. Unfortunately, Natural Born Keeper has been abandoned and the engine they made from scratch from it is now in use for War for the Overworld as well as future Multiplayer for Dungeon Keeper 1. So far, there is very vague info on War of the Overworld, so i can only leave you with: and a link to the project site: http://warfortheoverworld.org/ As for the "keeperFX" engine, it is downloadable with seven extra campaigns much alike Dungeon Keeper 1's and to my knowledge, will run the official campaign for DK1. here's the forum for KeeperFX: http://forum.keeperklan.com/52-KeeperFX i am sorry that i am so vague about these two mods, their state is far worse than they used to be. they are damn awesome though, and if you liked any of the Dungeon Keeper games, i urge to download KeeperFX engine and look up their other projects at http://forum.keeperklan.com Furthermore, this community often have tournaments in DK2 multiplayer and a lot of casual MP, which is very admirable for such an old game. wasn't there also some russian horror mod for HL1 called paranormal or so?
Dude...i just nostalgia'd so hard....i loved the BG series so much. Aim for the eyes Boo!
Oh, they are THE best WCRPGs out there. I prefer BG1 though.
At first I was like "the hell is this?"... Then I saw the big cages at the start of that youtube video, and it snapped and I remembered. I will buy Dragon Age just to play this mod.
I was expecting a Modding Megathread I am disappoint
Sorry, i meant to have more mods in there, but all those that i think are beyond epic are just half done so far... I will add Paranoia though, and look into more mods. If you think more should be added, then make a post about it and we'll see to adding it. There will be no modding tutorials in here just because trying to learn that from me is like learning to fly from a flat rock skipping the water.
