I for one can't freakin' wait for HL3 or HL2 Ep. 3 to come out. It's making me insane waiting for it. Bioshock 2 took long enough to come out, why so long for ep 3? They haven't even set a release date yet... Same with NVIDIA, they're falling way fucking behind on the better cards, losing to AMD. If anyone has any info about Hl2 Ep 3 or for whatever reason hl3, tell the forum!

It's funny because Valve thought when releasing L4D2 that the fans would be pleased with an early release. Instead, the community boycott'd it. So they are probably thinking

We have to look through the facts, people. HL2 was faced with almost endless delays, putting the gap between hl1 and 2 to 6 years. We know that EP3 will most possibly be in a new engine(god help Valve if it ain't), and we know that early development stages was underway already during 05/06. So I expect 2011/2012. I can wait. The world isn't going anywhere.

For those of you who don't get it:
Its EP3 not E3
EP3 = Episode 3
E3 = Electronics expo.
They probably are working on a new engine. Let's say this, bot l4d1 and l4d2 are like Blue Shift and opposing force. They still used the old engine while the new one was in development. So yeah, maybe not a new new engine but maybe a heavily edited source engine
VALVe has already said they are not making a Episode 3, it's going to be Half-Life 3.
Technically Valve hasn't delayed ep3 since they never gave us a solid release date.
Fucking valve.
It'll come out in 2013 and by that time the world will be over, so no episode 3... :(
