I finally got a response back from EA regarding my problem with trying to improve my BF2 gaming experience.

[i] I tried to patch my game and all that happened after I installed the patch was that my screen flashed black, stopped, then did not open the game. I tried to add new maps to the game, the maps showed up on the list and went to the map loading screen, once the map loaded, the my screen turned black and the game closed. I tried to 'register the booster packs,' it opens up my browser and in the url it says:

but then goes to this
[url]http://battlefieldbadcompany2.com/activate[/url]
Why did it take me to a BF: Bad Company website!?!?
Please help me, I just want to make the best of your rushed game. [/i]

Is it just a computer that finds key words and picks a prewritten email response based on the keywords in my email and sends it to me?
I.E.
"Oh he mentioned 'patch' quite a few times, he must want to download the newest patch! So here's the link to the patch. Problem solved."
Rule of thumb for support in general. [B]NEVER, EVER, EVER[/B] go to email support first. try the people at chat support. they'll usually get it done the quickest.
