Ok so Fallout 3 is being a real bitch right now. I've had fallout 3 and it preformed great little to no lag on high settings, I played it all the time but eventually I got tired of it so I uninstalled it off steam. Now a few months later I wanted to play it again so I installed it again. Then when I load it up it's really fucking laggy on the menu screen my mouse is moving slowly and the slides are moving slow as-well. I checked the sensitivity it was high. So I just made a new game and then the lag just went away the loading screen was smooth and so was the start of the game. I get into the fighting part of the vault still no lag, then when I went to the part where those two vault kids are talking about running at the the vault security the game just slows down out of nowhere. I can hardly move,turn let alone shoot and aim.
So I rebooted the game still the same so I reinstalled fallout 3 and still the same thing. I load the save games from earlier still as slow. When I start a new game the lag is instantly gone what the fuck?! I go to the menu from the new game and then the menu dose not lag anymore but when I load a save game it goes back to being slow.
There has been no changes in my hardware or software, all my drivers are up to date,I have the latest FO3 patch, no antivirus is up and my system is good enough to run it easy. I can play other games with no lag or slowdown. Vsynch is off, and no matter what the settings are it's still the same.
