whenever i push an object in hl1 it goes WAY too far from me. steam in game doesnt work. when ever im on a train or something the screen, or other characters on the train are like moving back and forward like its a earthquake
That annoying method of pushing stuff in HL1 has been around since 1998. And it's understandable steam in-game doesn't work, as HL wasn't made for Steam.
Oh yeah goddamnit I remember that part in the blackmesa research facility when you had to push the crate to get to the taller crate to get to the vents. IT TOOK ME 5 GODDAMN PUSHES
The Physics (when moving objects) in HL were always bad, HL:S didn't improve this either. As far as the Steam Overlay, it's working for me.
Try not holding E. If you hold E, you'll shove the box or whatever at high speeds. Use E only when you're pulling stuff. And the scientists (and GMan) moving quickly in the trains is unfixable and nothing to worry about.
