I just think that Valve should grow their development team so they can make things faster an have the extra help. Whats your input?
Recording studio or just development?
why would you assume only recording studio lol
I think they're fine as they are. They're a small company and yet they're one of the most popular and successful.
Nope, why would they. They currently deliver quality games. Wouldn't like to see that change.
They become too big they become like EA, or Tesco. Industry powers with no focus on quality, just profit.
Last I heard, Valve was moving into a 70,000 sq. ft building.
They have 30,000 sq. ft now, and a staff of about 250 people.
They're already very big for a one-game-a-year developer and they're moving offices.

Fuck EA.
Quality is what we want, not Quantity :buddy:
Not really, they work fine how they are.
But I still want Episode 3
No.
Valve is fucking awesome because they aren't that big so they communicate with eachother well and thus come up with the best ideas
Valve are automatically better than all other game companies, even fanboys will disagree but if they knew Valve enough they'd be a valve fanboy.
Valve are automatically better for one reason is that they actually communicate with the god damn community instead of ripping their faces off and laughing at them.
Yeah. I'm getting tired of waiting for EP3.
[sp]And the studio is not big enough for Gabe's massive body.[/sp]
:ninja:
Well, if they moved I'd just say make the Studio Orchestra have a bigger room.
They deserve a spot.

You do realize that the so-called "Valve Studio Orchestra" is not an orchestra at all, right? Mike Morasky and Kelly Bailey barely use any real instruments, the only cases of ever having one have all been solo instruments (the trumpet in TF2, the guitar in the L4D2 intro and the horde samples of the game...)
[QUOTE=Epidemick;20448866]No.

This. Exactly This.
If it's not broke don't fix it.
Making it bigger would spread things out and ruin the focus Valve has.

The problem lays with you. Don't be so impatient. A game will be done when it's done. The longer something takes the more work goes into it usually. Valve hasn't let us down, so stop worrying.

It is terrible broke
They're constantly late on releases, they're extremely slow on their Half-Life games, and honestly;
When was the last time Valve delivered major update/demo/release without any delays, and then the update actually worked?

You're in for it now
If it will help them work faster and better, yes.
They laugh at us. cause we suffer. Maybe they finished Ep3... just... laughing and mocking us.
D:< GABE YOU CAN'T FOUL MEH.
