Borderlands - Crawmerax the Invincible (General Knoxx DLC) - Games

Anyone beat this fucker yet? God he's a pain in the ass, he hits me twice and i die instantly it's fucking bullshit. If anyone has the 360 version and would like to help take this bastard down send me a message here on FP. I can only play on weekends though :argh:

For instance to take him out (or to do damage) you can ONLY hit the purple spots, and that's a pain because he moves around so much. Also those Craw Maggots are fucking annoying, no matter how many critical hits i get, they just seem to shrug it off.

I beat him earlier today. My strategy was to have a friend of mine stand in a spot that was impossible for Crawmerax to get to. Then, another friend of mine and I kept going up the elevator, shooting his critical points, dying, respawning, etc. In the end, he died, and it was like a fucking piñata...so many weapons. Oh, and as a note, I do believe the boss is more of a joke. As, if you think of it, he is a giant enemy crab, and you have to hit his weakpoints for massive damage..or however that went.

Beat him yesterday. He drops good loot.

I haven't encountered him yet, I only just got the detonator from Athena. Anyway, I did see in a loading screen a hint saying "Crawmerax the Invincible drops some of the best loot in the whole of Pandora" or something along those lines.

I can barely resist the urge to go and pick this game up. It's so much fun. Non-stop fun for hours on end, shooting enemies over and over until they die. Borderlands idea of a hard boss? Make it nigh impossible to kill, and make sure the fight goes on for more than an hour! Loads of hardcore gamers love that, right...? The game is so annoying, I don't know how you people can stand to play it. After that boss, there's probably someone even HARDER waiting.

Nothing like the simple fun of punching the natives until they explode in gore. The game is definitely a lot more dull on your own. Works a lot better with friends.

Bosses should be interesting. This is just awfully boring... I am glad I didn't buy DLC.

I imagine he'll have a better chance when he learns hitting glaring weakspots increases chance of winning by a million %.

How do you get to the dlc areas. (i uninstalled it but then got the dlc, so I'm a level 8 atm)

I am about to put the detonator into the machine thingy, but I want to collect the loot first, like Athena says. However, I don't find any way off of that platform. Woah dude, no wonder you kept getting killed. You should've killed all of those maggots and other smaller creatures before actually going against the big guy. In fact, do you know anything about this DLC? The levels cap at 61.
