So I have some keys. - Games

Alright, so i got a CoD4 and GTAIV key(s). I can't find a good download, either there's no available seeds/downlods, you have to register and pay, or there were none. Can somebody help me get my games working? I need an installer or something so I can play my games :saddowns:! I can provide certain proof I have the keys. I can't give you guys the keys, but I assure you I have them. Therefore this is [b]NOT[/b] warez.

I'm looking for the exact same thing. I have a COD4 key I need to (somehow) activate. I can provide proof.

If you know someone with them I guess you can borrow their CD.

Says invalid code, but I got the key unused. I didn't use a keygen. I got them in a legal and legit way.

Perhaps this is dumb, but does having keys prove you bought the game? prove you didn't just download a stand alone keygen and cant get the game itself?

There's no way you can prove he has generated keys, just like there's no way he can prove he has legit ones. So give him the benefit of the doubt.

I may still get some stuff wrong. USA: 1. If you own a cd-key, you don't have the right to download copyrighted product from P2P sources that do not have the proper licensing. 2. Upload/Download files via P2P that are copyrighted is against the law/terms of service. This includes music. 3. It is legal to download freely distributed software/files via P2P Canada: 1. Music can be downloaded via P2P except for uploading. (I think this has to do with uploading the file in the first place, not as a leech.) 2. As far as I know, the CD-key thing with games is the same. 3. It is legal to download freely distributed software/files via P2P Basically, if the product isn't from a partner of the publisher, it is illegal regardless. It's all about money really. I don't really agree with these laws, but if the game is good, buy it. I am sure you do have genuine keys, it is just the laws. Oh, and if you are wondering why all those pirate websites never get shut down, it is because the are search engines. Google would have to be sued/shut down if that happened. Unless they get in trouble.
