Best source mod I've ever played. Its really awesome and it feels like VALVe made it.

ah, i played that, it was actually really fun, had a good story
Prelude was by far one of the worst "mods" I have ever played and after beating it I immediately removed it from my PC and formatted my drive twice to erase any trace of that filth.

I thought it was great, of course the voice acting was terrible, it was computer generated.
I liked most of the puzzles, and I'm redownloading it right now.

Portal: Prelude was okay, but some parts of it just totally ruined it for me. The voice-overs for one, obviously, but some of the puzzles had elements that were just kind of messed up, like walls that were made of portal-able white paneling but that you couldn't place portals on...things like that. The setup of the ending areas was also pretty messy. It's been so long since I played it, though, so I'll have to take another look.
Personally for me, the best Portal mod was the Flash Version Map Pack. It was almost Valve quality, and a testament to that is the fact that Valve inducted over half of it to be used in Still Alive. And as much as everyone whined about the final boss, I thought it was pretty imaginative and really cool how they made it work.
This was a pretty cool mod. Challenging, I never finished it. I'll download it again and I swear I'll finish it.
Portal: Prelude can make your brain cry. After I beat it, I felt like sitting down and blowing through Portal in 15 minutes because it seemed so easy in comparison. Are you [I]sure[/I] you want it?
I got motion sickness from one of the chambers of Prelude. Other than that, it was a great mod that really increased your skills when using portals.
