I have bought the Battlefield 2 complete edition from steam. It was €19, couldn't resist it. I have updated everything I could on punkbuster and battlefield is running on the latest patch. (1.5...)
But after some minutes online on a server I get kicked :saddowns:

I looked it up, punkbuster says that this is some kind of hook on the game. But wait, I just bought it from steam. I have looked in many different forums where people have the same problems but I don't understand all of it.. Can you guys be any help please ?

Do you have Dyno or any video capture programs running? I ran into this problem on Bad Company 2.

No I'm not running any program to record my gameplay.
What OS are you running?
Probably have to disable your steam overlay, happend to me on cod5.

I'm running on XP.
And I'll try disabling the steam overlay.
i hate fucking punk buster. it does the opposite of what it is made to do. I kept getting kicked for "cheating" and people that are actually cheating get away with it.

This did the trick. Disabled the steam overlay and I'm not kicked so far. Thanks for the help guys.
