Far Cry 1 work with Windows 7? with steam

if I buy Far Cry 1 from Steam will it work on Windows 7? and Vista or only 7?

I know this said "Windows® 2000/XP (only)"

but will it work with Windows 7? or at least Vista?

You use 64-bit right?

It'll work, I've gotten some old games to work on my computer. Compatablity mode is an option.

it doesn't work, the beginning small screen at the beginning makes the screen go black and you have to ctrl-alt-del out of it

my far cry works just fine on 64bit windows 7

Worked for me on Windows 7 64 bit.

I say worked because, sadly, I no longer have W7. But that's another story.
