As an arcane/fire mage, I'm here to say that mages are easy as hell to play, as long as we have scary theorycrafters like this doing the calculation for us.

Make sure you say if you are talking PvE or PvP or varj will say arcane is bad for PvP and give examples of his experience with Arcane PvP.

You crit shit for thousands! But frost is fucking cool in PvP because you got absorb shield and you slow up people. Plus you gotta time your shatters right, which is pretty cool aswell.
