Why does this have to be exclusive! They would make so much more money by spreading it across Xbox and PC. This game looks like the best thing ever!

How is this anything like Garry's mod, it has zero modability.
LittleBigPlanet is more of a creative arcade game for the family, Garrys mod is just a sandbox shooter.
What? WHAT?! Dude LBP2 is better than Garrys Mod. You can create game from 0 and create 2d levels. I don't know how to explain but they are different.

Because then Sony would lose a selling point? Thats like asking why all console/ PC exclusives aren't multi-platform.

It's because LBP creators enjoy the ps3 platform, besides. it would be hard to rewrite their entire game for xbox360 and pc.

Oh boy, I sure can't wait to see a flood of PS3>Whatever Levels.
In any case, I would love to try this game out. I would love to make something really nice from it. Although there is always someone who goes far beyond and makes something awesome.
I love it. It alows me to share what I make without somebody freezing a dumpster over it.

It's not because the creators enjoy the PS3 platform it's because Sony made LBP and want it exclusively for the PS3 so that more people will want to buy the PS3.
So... the music they use in the teaser thing on their site... I just downloaded that song a few weeks ago :D. Sleepyhead by Passion Pit. If I would be at home, instead of heading off to college by the time this comes out, I would definitely buy it... but I'm not taking the PS3 with me. Leaving it here for my brother. T-T
Can't wait for LBP2...I have LBP1 and I still play it all the time.
Garry's Mod and Little Big Planet 2 are completely different games, there is no way to compare them. Garry's Mod is a sandbox mod for Half-Life 2 at it's core, however people can create custom gamemodes, tools, weapons, etc. using the lua scripting language Garry implemented.
Little Big Planet 2 is more of a platformer with a level editor. However I guess they did go away from the platforming aspect just a bit, the two games are still nothing alike. It is easier to create custom content in LBP2 compared to Garry's Mod, however there is still no comparison.
I see the point of console-specific exclusives( Uncharted for Playstation, Halo for XBOX.) I dont see the point of "console" exclusives though. (RDR, etc.)
On topic though; LBP its alot different then Garry'smod...

They are different games entirely.
Just because they both let you be creative doesn't mean they are similar. That would be like calling Call of Duty and Portal the same game because they are both FPS's. You seem to be acting like LBP2 is copying Garrys Mod...

Play Demon's Souls and MGS4. I know that I'm supposed to recognize differing perspectives and respect others opinions, but if you don't like those then I just have to believe that you have bad taste in video games.
