I am done with the town i live in. full of fucking "no-necked monsters" and backwoods retards. yes ladies and gentlemen, i mean i'm going to boarding school.
sadly, my xbox 360 is not. it technically belongs to both me and my brother, and i cant take it with me.
however, all is not lost. i have saved enough money to buy a decent monitor and a ps2, and i was wondering what games should go along with it. please help me, i don't want to be in a new place without games, for i have no self confidence.
so please post your favorite ps2 games, and i will appreciate it for the rest of time.

You should get a good stealth game.
Like Splinter Cell!
I love the series, any one in particular?
Shadow of the Colossus. All the Ratchet and Clank games. Katamari Damacy.
Gran Turismo 4, all of the Jak games, and all of the Ratchet and Clank games.

Chaos Theory is fantastic. It's got co-op, too.

You mean Metal Gear, right.
Timesplitters 2, Gauntley: Dark Legacy, Worms (Any of them).
But those are all games you'd need friends to play with.
Okami, no other game like it.
Mgs2.
Ace Combat 4
Ace Combat 5
Ace Combat Zero
Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Big Red One
Killzone
Gran Turismo 4
black is a pretty great "shoot everything" game
Great advice guys, any thoughts on red faction?
The original Red Faction is great, 2 is not so much from what I've heard. I might play it eventually.
I didn't enjoy it. If you want to get your moneys worth and then some, buy Metal Gear Solid 3. You don't have to know anything about MG to enjoy that one fully. And you can play it many many times over as it's filled with sandboxy elements and loads of secrets.
Gran Turismo 3&4
SOCOM 1-3/combined assault
tons of others that I can't remember right now
The Ratchet and Clank series, especially Up Your Arsenal.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System is a fun game.
how about the PS2 version of Hitman Blood Money. Ive played it on pc and its one of my all time favorites (note the proper capitalization). also is the PS2 version of deus ex any good? i've never gotten around to play any version of that game.

Medal of Honor: Frontlines.
Oh the times we had.

Favorite Medal of Honor
Front Mission 5, but only if you've played all the other English Front Mission games first.
[editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
And Ring of Red. Probably the only game released in the past 11 years to show some good mecha action in a combined arms setting.
All of the PS2 GTA games? Those can last you a while.
Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
War of the Monsters
Tony Hawk Underground 1 and 2
Ace Combat 4, Gran Turismo 3, Ratchet and Clank, War of the Monsters, and Mercenaries.
I will tell you my picks:
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Okami (I've never played it actually, but I've heard enough good things about it to recommend it)
GTA games
Any Resident Evils, if you like that
Medal of Honor is a pretty good one
