• Does the XBOX 360 Wireless adapter go the same speed as your internet?

The reason I ask is, my internet pretty much sucks major cock. I get around 100/200 kb/s, and about 250-300 ping on PC online games. Would I get about the same ping with the new adapter or would it go a completely different speed? [editline]oenrh[/editline] My router is okay, it's my ISP that's shitty.
Your local networking hardware is nearly always faster than your WAN connection. So yeah, you won't be limited by the adapter, I think.

From what I understand, changing your adapter won't do a goddamn thing. The best thing to do, other than yelling at your ISP, is to not use wifi for gaming. It's a bit shit.

Yeah. It won't limit your speed or anything.
Yeah. It won't limit your speed or anything.
Yay! :buddy:
It'll still be shit though, you won't notice any improvement in lag compared to your PC. You still have the same internet connection.
The wireless adapter will only get up to what you get on your computer. It won't somehow make it any better.
I only get 30kb/s download on my computer and I have the adapter for my 360. I don't have any lag in games unless I'm hosting or someone else with a shit connection hosts. Just make sure you can get a strong signal wherever you have your 360 and router. Also, my PC never lags in games unless the server itself has a shitty ping due to being far away. So I don't know what you're trying to get at Generic Monk.
