These are bit noobish questions, but did not find answer by googling ... About Worlds ... 1. How do I check the pings for different worlds. I can see what my ping is when I join it, but is there any other way? 2. The full worlds, is there anyway getting into them? 3. If you want to change world after creating characters, it takes time and money? About Creating Characters and profession ... 1. What is the most common class? 2. What is the most common professions? 3. What is the most common race? About Leveling Up ... 1. You can have only 2 profession (also Fishing, First Aid and cooking) you level them up by buying and using them? There is no possibility for 3rd profession even in add-ons? 2. There is no limit how many spells you have, if you have high enough level for them. Also you can not level up spells. This means you should buy / get all spells, no harm in it? 3. Should I rest in inns to level up faster? About dieing ... 1. If you die, you do not lose anything ... 2. If you are in same faction and you are high enough level you can be killed? Meaning if I am happily jumping as orc (level 20 for example) and I see another orc (lets say level 70), he can kill me? About what should I do ... 1. If you create a new character, what is the first things you do ... some important items or something? 2. When you started playing, what is the biggest mistake you did?
- The only way to check without using the command prompt is to try each world, they generally have the same pings though. - You can get into full worlds but you have to wait in a queue. - If you want to move a character instead of levelling a new one it costs £15 to transfer. - Death Knight - Not sure - Human - You can have a maximum of two primary professions and all three secondarys, if you want to have more primarys you'll have to make a new toon. - What? Just buy all the spells you get as you unlock them, they rank up as you level (although you have to buy new ranks.) - Yes, inns or cities. By logging off in those places you gain "rested" EXP which increases your EXP gain by 2x for it's duration. It's duration is represented by a pink bar on your EXP bar, the longer you stay logged out the more rested you gain. - If you die you lose durability which you will have to pay to get back. - No. - Just get to levelling, itemization isn't even remotely important until at least level 60 because you'll be replacing gear too quickly. - I went on an airship to Ogrimmar then to Grom'Gol, I was lost forever.
2. When you started playing, what is the biggest mistake you did?
I started playing. The game is so time consuming, but you will love it anyway, and hate yourself for playing it.
2. When you started playing, what is the biggest mistake you did?
Sold stuff I mined and skinned to vendors rather than the AH.

If you create a new character, what is the first things you do ... some important items or something? 2. When you started playing, what is the biggest mistake you did?
1)as its already been said yes the pings are mostly the same, only way to check is to log onto each one invidiually, you're probably best off on one of the recomended realms 2) the full realms are not "full" as such that nobody can enter them anymore it just means that you will probably have to queue up to log in, and if you loose connection or something similar it means going through this queue again 3) you can create any characters on any realms if you want to transfer your level X class to another server then yes that will take a day or two and some money yes, you can also change your name gender and race and faction for a fee About Creating Characters and profession ... last i checked it was paladin, but they, like druids can fill every role so this is bound to happen proffesions are quite evenly spread in my experiance you can always find someone to make you the stuff that your proffesions don't cover. most people seem to say take 2 gathering proffesions while leveling up so you can earn some extra money, and drop the one that you don't want at 80 and level, while you can do this you don't have to, as odds are you'll just end up spending what money you have made if you don't farm it back personally on the mats for leveling your new proffesion up tailoring is recomended for any cloth wearing classes though in my experiance most common race is human (male) but this shouldn't affect your judgement of picking a race. pick any you want. About Leveling Up ... 1) you can only have 2 main proffesions at once yes though if you decide you do not want a proffesion anymore it can be discarded (all recipies will be lost and will have to be relearned if you take it again) 2) no, there is no limit to any spells you can have, so you may aswell learn them all provided you have the money to learn them. all spells are from the trainer these days so you don't have to worry about finding any exotic ones from raids or instances. You can't level up spells no but you do learn higher ranks of most (from the trainer) as you go depending on your class 3) yes. you should log out in inns or cities, especially if you're not going to be able to play for a while, you can earn up to 2 and half levels of rested (2x) experiance you can also recruit a freind for a 3x boost on top of that up untill level 58 or until the accounts link runs out About dying ... 1) if you die your equipped items suffer what is known as a durability loss and as you use them they will slowly degrade until it breaks, upon it breaking you loose the stats from that item until you repair it. 2) the same faction players can not kill you at all unless you enter specific areas of the game, these are few and far between though so you don't need to worry about this. About what should I do ... 1) when you first enter the game you'll learn the ropes of your chosen class, try to give most classes a fair go up to level 20 is usualy a fair trial, don't just go "oh i don't like warlocks" at like level 7 and give up on them as you don't get to learn a few things like how to summon demons and so on till like level 10+ try and find yourself a nice leveling guild so that you arn't leveling in obscurity, ask around see if there any, my suggestion is don't join the first guild that replies, use the command /who guild name here and find out how many members they have, no point joining a "leveling guild" that only has like 4 members in, ask in the cities for players to recomend you a large leveling guild. 2) 2. When you started playing, what is the biggest mistake you did? not asking for help, i started my hunter and while i got the general jist of things i still got a few things wrong from time to time like having the wrong stats on gear for more information see: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/index.html#howtoplay wow thats the longest post i've ever done...
Alliance player :argh:
stop this shit
Alliance player :argh:
Yeah how dare I play on a different faction to you! God, I'm such a cunt. Horde is clearly the ONLY faction people should ever play, ever.
Exactly! Why would you even bother playing anything else?
- Human
Blood Elf, I'd say.
- I went on an airship to Ogrimmar then to Grom'Gol, I was lost forever.
god damn I did this too.
i didn't realize at first that i'd be able to get every single spell, so i saw taunt and thought "that's worthless" and got battle shout instead
i didn't realize at first that i'd be able to get every single spell, so i saw taunt and thought "that's worthless" and got battle shout instead
Well it is when you level up until you realise how good dungeons are.
About Creating Characters and profession ... 1. What is the most common class? 2. What is the most common professions? 3. What is the most common race?
1. Death knight is overpopulated indeed, but paladin seem more used lately than before. Also depends a bit on which server you play. 2. Most people pick professions depending on their class, but recently enchanting and engineering (in my opinion) seems more used than before. (Also jewelcrafting after it came.) 3. I'd say it varies from server to server, but humans or blood elves might sometimes seem like the more populated ones.
About Leveling Up ... 1. You can have only 2 profession (also Fishing, First Aid and cooking) you level them up by buying and using them? There is no possibility for 3rd profession even in add-ons?
No, addons only help you in different ways to make things easier, and afaik they don't have the rights to add things which might/will involve other players, or making you any better (if not only for different situations). e.g. 3 professions makes you kinda better than someone else.
2. There is no limit how many spells you have, if you have high enough level for them. Also you can not level up spells. This means you should buy / get all spells, no harm in it?
Yeah the more spells the better! Some might wait untill later if they REALLY need or want the money it costs, but normally talents and stuff are the only things you must care for. Spells you learn from talents however cost you 1 talent point which you could use on something else... But these spells are often worth it if you're not 100% on what you're doing.
About what should I do ... 1. If you create a new character, what is the first things you do ... some important items or something?
I personally think enjoying the game and getting used to the place/setting is just as important as leveling fast. Leveling faster won't necessarily make you have more direct experience from the game, just a higher level. Especially if you're new, getting the right 'feel' and spending time where you want is often worth it if you like doing what you are. If you want to level fast however, doing professions or achiv will only in most cases slow you down, unless you're bored. Hope this helps you in ways you didn't know already. :v:
Blood Elf, I'd say.
Statically, it's human. It's on that infographic somewhere lost in these threads. [editline]11:34AM[/editline] Though just wait 6 months and it will be Worgen
