The next update for World of Tanks – version 8.5 – is scheduled to arrive in Late April/Early May 2013.
8.5 will bring the Daimler-Benz German medium line, culminating in the new German TX medium the Leopard I. In addition, it adds a new low-tier Soviet light line that acts as a bypass to the god-awful A-20. It will also bring at least 1 new map (Pearl River), and balance changes, with bugfixes.

In tanking news, took valley more or less on my own while a friendly KV-5 (who had lost most of his HP dueling a Spershing over the pass) and an ST-I (who didn't take a single hit) stood back and did ass-all.
Welp, I can't play World of Tanks decently at the dorms. The internet here has been fucking up, but now it takes everyone a shitload of time just to load up browsers. Thought it was just me, but apparently not.
Still, just bought the Dicker Max and made a decent amount of money on a horrific loss. I think I'm going to like this thing.

Basically it remains to be seen whether or not it will survive the test with decent stats. My thinking is, the Batchat and T-62A can fill its role just as well.

From what I felt, it's definitely very mobile and maneuverable with really good traverse speeds, I'd place it with the speed/acceleration of the batchat and the traverse of the T-62A. The only thing is that the dispersion on the move felt similar to the T-62A's anyway, and I'm not sure exactly how long the reload time was but it felt similar to the M48's reload time (~8 seconds with rammer and vents).
At this point it's better for CWs than the E-50M and the M48, but not too sure on whether it'll be good enough to replace the bat chat or T-62A

Well to be honest I don't think I'll be grinding up the Chinese tree with the T71 so close to ownership (read: I still need the full 60k xp to get it), so I might go for it provided I'm convinced enough.

I should've bought the KV-5 when it was still regularly available. My playstyle in the T34 is actually suited for the KV-5 instead, and my T34 winrate really reflects that.

I wouldn't spend that much money on it.
The WZ-131 is amazing, it's only a tiny bit better than the Type 62 when fully upgraded. The problem is that the tank is worth 20-25$ along with a month of premium which is 12$, it's simply not worth it.
So what skillset should I have for my 88 jagdtiger? I prefer to not have perks because leveling them up takes so long, and until you get 100% they are useless.

Hm, I guess so. Also an open question to anyone, how does one play the T21? I've been using it as a bush scout/fire support tank but it feels wrong. Any tips?
