Duke Nukem Forever is dead until the developers make a cocktease post in twitter and then forget about it after 3 months.
Never, it was confirmed canceled awhile ago.
DNF - The product did not finish.
IF it would come out, I would play the shit out of it.
The last gameplay footage of it looked atrocious, so I couldn't care less about it ever being released. As for the release itself, people for some reason refuse to acknowledge the fact that the game got cancelled and its team got fired a while ago.
It's not going to get released dude. Get over it.
It's like a project you start when you're about 14 and you're really into it for a bit but then you realise learning programming or drawing or mapping is hard and it slowly gets abandoned until the cycle repeats a few years later.

When I think a bit more about it, every single piece of gameplay footage of DNF looked terrible. From the 1998 one to the 2009 one, it always looked like utter shite. The 2001. gameplay video looked great but it wasn't a real gameplay video, just a render.
It should have came out 9 years ago.
Even though the 2001 video was completely scripted, it looked great.
Actually the legal thingalings surrounding DNF's developers/distribuers aren't finished yet, and there's also been a rumor that Valve will take on doing it. Probably won't happen though, but I'm saying that there's hope.

I think that 3D Realms might have done some kind of secret action. Such as handing it off to some other developer and publisher altogether. That's just what I think :downs:
