Well I played this game on MAME, forgot the name.
But.
You had 3 guys, each one had one plane. Rich looking guy an F14 Tomcat, Guy with a dragon/fire on his helmet had an F16 Fighting Falcon, and the mexican looking guy that smiled after every stage completed had an A-10 Thunderbolt II.
What was the name of that game?

It's a sidescrolling game. Alright here is how it goes.
One level its all grassy and shit, you kill the boss B1B Lancers etc, next level same, 5 levels later, its a stormy sky, F117s everywhere dropping cluster bombs, and the boss is a B2 stealth bomber.
5 levels later its a nuclear silo base, same stuff as grassy levels.
Last level is a huge ship that is beaming lasers at you etc. You shoot the engines/lasers. And the guy you played as just keeps flying while the other two fighter guys come to you, and all 3 of you fly away.
