• Borderlands won't run/XINPUT_3 missing?

Whenever I try to run Borderlands, it says that it can't start because XINPUT_3.dll is missing from my computer. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Do I need to purchase the program to fix this?

No, just download the dll, and then copy it to C:\Windows\system or C:\Windows\system32 Actually, copy it to both.
I meant the xinput program, not borderlands. I see the free version now, but where do I save it in order for it to work? Nvm, thanks tippz

Now it is giving me an error message when I try to save it into C:\Windows\System32
İnstall directX9.Even if you have got directX11 still give error.

Actually, put the file in the same directory as the Borderlands exe file, it should work perfectly.
Ok I got that dll along with 2 others that were missing and now whenever I try to open borderlands it says " Borderlands has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem " and then it says to close the program. Any suggestions?
Reinstall.
