Whenever I try to run Borderlands, it says that it can't start because XINPUT_3.dll is missing from my computer. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Wait, you got a pirated version of Borderlands?
No, just download the dll, and then copy it to C:\Windows\system or C:\Windows\system32
Actually, copy it to both.
I meant the xinput program, not borderlands. I see the free version now, but where do I save it in order for it to work?

Did a bit of googling and it's meant to go in system32.

Now it is giving me an error message when I try to save it into C:\Windows\System32
İnstall directX9.Even if you have got directX11 still give error.

Are you set as an adminstrator? Maybe you're not allowed to paste anything in the Windows folder!
Actually, put the file in the same directory as the Borderlands exe file, it should work perfectly.
Ok I got that dll along with 2 others that were missing and now whenever I try to open borderlands it says " Borderlands has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem " and then it says to close the program. Any suggestions?
