G'day gents, I'm hosting a survey and need your help, this survey is about your dream game, if you could make a game what would you do. Me and my development team have been working on a mod which is such a rare idea and I thought, what about all the other ideas out there, because really, average gamers have better game ideas than game businesses do. You don't "Hire" people to mod, you have friends who share ideas, knowledge and that stuff - make it with them.
To be honest, it was in a way, for the people, you have to admit some people have great, unsung ideas for games which go to waste, this is their chance to get it public in my opinion, but I'm open-minded if anyone thinks differently?

Also if someone submits an idea it's considered and treated as their property and can only be used with permissions by the owner, it's not like I'm trying to steal ideas for my own self-gain here.

I don't see what's wrong about receiving ideas from the community, especially since a lot of those who are saying this is a "stupid idea" are the ones complaining that companies never listen to the community. Some people may have good ideas and want to share them because they may not have the skills needed to make it happen.

Submitted an idea but... have you and your team done something before?, show us some work! (Maps, Models, anything...)
Well I don't run the show hehe. We're working on some sort of co-op survival horror role play thingo.
I'll try to get some models and stuff but i can't give the map and certain things, the main guy wants the map exclusive hehe.

There's a billion out there and lots of them unfinished, pick an idea someone else made instead of wanting a vague idea out of a specific person.

This mod is very different and definitely is played different, we've put our heads together and have some great ideas but yeah nonetheless, it's a very different type of game which I've never seen before yet.

I can, we all generally make the ideas, but as I've been explaining the more the better. And I'm not perfect.

Actually I just realised, I can't seem to find a reason to actually submit some of the work that would be profitable, I mean, people only want to see it because I guess they think I'm some random which doesn't know what I'm talking about.
Although I won't disagree I just want to say that at least I'm trying.
And for the people that "flame" if that's the right term, what I'm doing right now is not out of greed and is mainly for the community, one of the other reasons is to better my web development skills.
Please understand that if you don't want to submit your work and/or you think that I might steal your idea(s) etc. Then simply don't submit anything, I'm only asking that people help me help the community really.
So yeah, why so hostile? Chill out hehe.
