• If I delete a game's local content on Steam, will I lose savegames and that kind of stuff?

I'm running out of room on my hard drive, and noticed that all my Steam games are taking up a ton of space. If I delete the local content for some of them, will I be able to pick up where I left off once reinstalling them?
No /thread
Thanks for the quick response.
No it won't...
Doesn't it just delete the GFC's?
Really? I always thought if you deleted local content it deleted everything that wasn't synched to the Steam Cloud.
I'm fairly sure savefiles don't save to the Steam Cloud.
When you do this, only GCF's in steam/steamapps deletes. But the folder that contain savegames, screenshots and custom maps etc in steam/steamapps/steamID/ stays there. And steam clound is enabled only on TF2 and left 4 dead games (and some other developer's games)
