So whatever became of this game? It seemed interesting as it sounded more like a sandbox MMO but I remember hearing a year or so back that it sucked.
I played Darkfall Online when it first came out, it was a grindy unfinished mess full of broken promises and wasted potential.
Not sure what kind of state it's in today though. Anyone know if this 're-release' any good?
The leveling system is much better than it previously was, You can say just harvest all day and spend your points into combat skills.
Prowess points is what it is called, There are also feats aswell as hidden feats as in craft 100 leather pieces of armour or kill 150 evil eyes and earn this many amount of points.
The role system is nice although the melee combat feels much more slower than usual, It makes casual wariors much more useful now though instead of the whole "speed is my game hybrids my name"
Still they haven't added most of the content that the original had such as different particular roles, Elementalist only has fire/air, It's still missing earth and water.
Aswell as the primalist roles.
So at its current state, the game is good although its missing alot of content which could cause problems such as players that would want to change rolls later ingame when they come out, spending more points then they originally had done.
What im doing right now is just harvesting and earning money aswell as prowress points and when the specific roles that come out that i want ill spend it on them.
