Tribal Wars is a modification for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (Which can be bought quite cheaply now.)
It brings back many of the gameplay elements of the Tribes series such as skiing, and the spinfusor.

If you want to use the EDSF layout that Tribes used, instead of WASD,
bring up the console (ctrl-alt-~) and type exec esdf.

Cool, I have ET:QW. This seems good.
I got ET:QW with my 8800GT, and only played it once until this came out.
I nostalgia'd.
I'll see what its like, hopefully they got the Tribes feel down.
It definitely seems better than other Tribes clones like Fallen Empires: Legions, or Legends. Ascension looked promising, but it's been canceled.
