Microsoft has cancelled one of the best thing for xbox live! here is the news (may be late...)
Microsoft confirmed today it has canceled 1 vs. 100, the television-style game show that aired on Xbox Live. The cancellation comes just after two seasons since it debuted last November.
"When we started on this journey, we knew we were creating an entirely new genre of entertainment that would be a continually evolving concept," said Dave McCarthy, General Manager, Microsoft Game Studios.
"We're very proud of the '1 vs 100' team and their accomplishments, and are excited to apply what we've learned to future programming."
Microsoft said the 1 vs. 100 team is now focused on developing new projects to be unveiled in the future.
Wanna know why it failed? They didn't do enough video game trivia.
Did they really expect a bunch of gamers to care about obscure television references?
I thought it was a good game actually... I geuss it was because you didnt have to pay an extra fee for it, along with a gold membership...
:p
I got all the achievements by guessing...
Damn, was pretty fun.
I really enjoyed playing this with my friends, it's like watching the real program on telly with your family except more fun. I really hope they bring this back, or at least make some more TV quiz shows for the Xbox.
This was the reason my friend bought xbox live :(
yeah it was awsome...
I think it was a version of the game, because if you search 1 vs 100 they have all sorts of stuff...
Aw what? It was fun, I got one question wrong on the football topic. :saddowns:
My whole family played it.
I remember that a majority of people couldn't find out what the answer was for "Who is Jumpman?".
This was a great game. Rest in peace XBL 1 v 100. :saddowns:
It failed after people realised if they didnt play it constantly they wouldnt win anything.
The only reason people played it was to win the 'epic' prizes.
It failed because everyone stopped playing after week one.

It's the reason I stopped playing. I worked evenings when this was around, so I only got to play once a week, if that.
