I just waited for 4 hours to download this game and now that I have it, it won't let me play. It takes me to this:

And I can't do anything other then hit quit. I wish I had more to tell you but thats basically everything I know.

Maybe you have to be online.
It looks like a big "fuck-you" to me due to the font IMO.
This got to be a joke since it says your playing Alien Swarm though steam and I don't think you would stay in the menu for that long.
Verify game cache.
