did you save before you armed the bomb? if not you have to start over.
unless you're just using autosaves, then you'll probably have to start over. fortunately, usually the power of atom is one of the first quests you do.
Or download a save file from the net if you use a Games for Windows Live Disabler, it crashes my game so I use it. I didn't get a save file from the Internet or anything.
