The majority of guys in my class thinks MW2 is the best game around :sigh:
One guy even had a powerpoint presentation about MW2, and my casual gamer-radar broke. "Activision has also created games such as Prototype, Tony Hawk and Doom". Gahh.
Jocks playing CoD is definitely the worst kind of "gamer" I know.

i did a presentation about pc gaming. mostly valves games, i focused on garrys mod though

This. I could never engage a good conversation about gaming without MW2 coming up. I also did a project about game development, I only used PC games. People were like, "wtf is that?" or, "game is bad"
I never really had an issue with Activision Blizzard until MW2. I played both CoD4 and WaW, loved them so I was going to proceed with playing the series. Well I get on steam and see that $60 for MW2, so I think to myself oh well it's just for one game, besides they'll probably support it and give us map packs and stuff for free. I was wrong. Then I had the assumption that multiplayer would be fine without dedi servers....oh god was I wrong.
I am going to get Black Ops though...as long as zombies are back...and they don't charge $15 per map pack.

Remember, if you buy Black Ops your supporting Acti's milking and overpriced DLC just further. Is that what you want the future of gaming to become?

Only a few were asked/told towards me, most were conversations people were holding beside me. I felt like jumping in to drop some knowledge but figured it would only be a waste of time.

nowadays you cant even have a NORMAL conversation without MW2 comming up, let alone one about games.
Are you retarded? The SC2 trilogy isn't the same game 3 times, it's a completely different and equally long storyline for each game along with different multi-player components.

I wouldn't have an issue with SC2 and the soon to come expansions, but for $60 plus the (my guess) $30 expansions, it's really god damn hard to want to buy it.

the second and third games have a campaign and maybe an extra 4 or 5 units. although the cutscenes will be added. a few extra models/ textures shouldent cost 60 usd.
See back in the day we wouldn't even call that an 'expansion pack'
Perhaps a mission pack, but certainly not expansion.

No... they won't be. It's been announced they will be priced similarly to their previous expansions (TBC, WOTLK, etc.) so about 30-40$

I only bought one GH, I'll get all of the SC2's, I don't even play WoW anymore, I only got one mappack [B]gifted[/B] to me.
