Anyone else thinking about quitting when Cata comes out? - Games

I mean honestly, it seems like Blizz isn't even trying anymore, Tauren Paladins, Troll Druids? Anyone else thinking about quitting?

Troll Druids have always existed, just not as a playable class. Tauren Paladins don't have to use the light in the same way as the humans, for example. Remember the blood elves?

Good job I don't play Horde, because if I saw those troll druids running about everyday, I would probably hang my self.

The 1-60 leveling process was complete shit, and they are now bringing new scenery and more up-to-date quests for the old areas. If anything, Cataclysm should motivate even more people to come back to the game, as it brings a new experience.

I'm probably more excited about this expansion than any other, it's bringing some awesome stuff to the game. A lot of people from my guild in vanilla have actually started playing again for Cataclysm too.

I laughed so hard at that picture... That would be a stupid reason to quit though, I actually just started playing again and can't wait for the expansion already. Aside from having to pay for another expansion, theres nothing really THAT bad about it.

Eh I decided to use my money on better games over cata. But yeah I did laugh quite a bit when I saw that. Actually, if they made the Troll Druids cat form thingies look JUST like that... I'd play again.

I personally came back because of cata.

And why would you quit when cata is out, have you even read up on cata? Yoi just heard "tauren pala and troll druid" And they actually make sense, you're just too hard headed to think straight.. Troll druids have always been around, and there are tons of tauren part of the argent dawn.. Paladin is not a bloodline, it can be taught. You can be granted the powers of the paladins. You dont know jack shit about cataclysm. Saying "anyone thinking of quitting when cata is out" means you obviously play Wotlk, which is the shittiest excuse of an expansion blizz has made. Cata will finally make wow good again, vanilla was great, tbc was okay, wotlk was horrible and cata will make everything right again. You should quit tho, you probably won't manage in cataclysm, because they are bringing back the "Epic" of vanilla, which means it takes a good while to get EPICS, which means wearing blue gear in lvl 85 will be quite common.

the ammount of casualism annoys me, but they're a buisness and they're gonna do what they can to get more subscribers i dislike some of the changes (25 mans get the same loot as 10 mans, hunters getting changed to focus, certain stats getting reworked into talents etc)..those are my reasons why i'm quitting anyway

And casualism? CC will be hardcore dude.. Casuals will be using blue gear in cc.. Atleast for a very long time. the 10 mans getting same loot as 25 is lame, but the 10 man gets LESS loot then 25 man tho. So doing it with 25 is still better. I'll ask you what I ask everyone else. They are bringing back the common sense of epics actaully being epic. They got a gear system, common, green (dont remember the name) rare and epic.. But right now, epics should be white, because they are common. NOBODY has blue gear anymore. And seriously, wotlk sucks dick. Ok some of the places look nice, but there is no CC what so ever, which makes the raids the easiest fucking thing ever.. The gear is shit, badges fucked everything up. And not to mention the gear is ugly, especially pvp gear. Cata will be good. Vanilla was great, tbc was okay and wotlk is horrible.. If you have seen the tauren paladin mount, it doesn't exactly scream of holy like the human paladin mount. It has a more shamantistic approach. Because the taurens believe in the earthmother.

I don't play WoW, but the new expansion looks pretty badass.

I re-subbed 3-4 weeks ago lvl 1-80 and raided a few times in 80, I've gotten the best possible robe I can get for my warlock and I only set foot in icc twice, and that was icc10.. well I did 2 bosses in icc25. I've seen the vids.. so I didn't miss out on anything. I'm well enough geared to be able to level for cataclysm now. I'll stick to aion till cc is out. So no, I did not kill LK.. I think I had about 4k gs, a guy was lfm'ing for toc10 and I said "Hey warlock here" and he asked me for "achi and gs" and I told him "I don't have the gs addon, and I don't have the achi. However, I've raided since vanilla, farmed every vanilla raid, farmed every tbc raid. Trust me, so I know how the raid mechanics work. I can take 5 minutes to read the tacs while you find the tank" And since this person actually had a brain, he invited me to the raid without hesitation. So now, this is what I tell to every raid leader who is making a pug. If he doesn't invite me, that just proves he's a dumbass, which means I don't want to be in his pug anyway.
